On March 21, Copiah-Lincoln Community College-Simpson County Center hosted a reception honoring Dr. Ronnie Nettles. Dr. Nettles will be retiring this June after a thirty-three year career in education, the last ten years as president of the college.

During this time, Nettles has seen the college’s enrollment grow to an all-time high, the Foundation’s endowment double to over $8 million, the curriculum expanded to add new instructional programs and services that have increased graduation rates, and the construction of new buildings on all of the college’s campuses. His tenure at Co-Lin has been filled with success and the legacy he leaves is one to be admired.
