The Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Board of Aldermen meeting was again attended by numerous residents.  The group, led by spokesperson Susan Walker, again questioned the legality of locating a drug rehab house in a R1 division of the City.

The home at 5th Street SW is owned by Stephen Tullos.  New Life Church is buying or renting the property as a house for men who have completed the drug free program at New Life.

Mrs. Walker questioned the make-up of the zoning board. Questions have risen about a lap over in the wards  representation.  The Mayor will check old minutes to establish the correct members on the Zoning Board.
