DON’T BE AFRAID

When you were growing up were you ever afraid to do something?  In today’s devotion we read about not being afraid.  Our devotion today comes from Psalm 23:4.  Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

This week tells us no matter how dark or deep our valley is God is there to protect and comfort us.  The light of our world is Jesus and no one else.  Jesus must be our pilot not our copilot.  Stand on Jesus for all other ground is sinking sand.

Our strength to reach the next mountain top is Jesus.  When you have a task today pray and ask Jesus to see you through and He will do it.  Jesus never fails now or any other time.  When we are sick we go to the doctor.  The doctor gives us some medicine to take.  We take the medicine and it seems to help.  We get better by the faith we have in the doctor and in the medicine.  In our spiritual sickness the best pill we can take is called the gospel.  This my friends will give you love and life eternal.  The directions for this is repent, be filled with the holy spirit speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance, take up our cross, follow Jesus and then serve Him.

God leaves with us a gift of peace of mind and a clean heart.  The peace Jesus gives is better than anything the world has to offer.  Don’t be afraid or troubled to come to Jesus and say yes.  Salvation is something we all must have.  It is so easy anyone can do it.

Though millions have come there is still room for one.  Don’t  leave behind today an unfinished task.

If you would like for me to come preach at your house of worship or supply at your house of worship, please contact me at POBox 1161, Magee, MS 39111.  Have a blessed and victorious week.
