On Wednesday, January 9, Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann announced that he will be seeking the position currently held by Tate Reeves, Lieutenant Governor. Hosemann hopes to continue the work that he has been apart of as the state’s chief land officer. Hosemann is not expected to have a primary opponent and will more than likely face Democratic Representative Jay Hughes.
