Danny Lee Brown, 70 of Magee, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on Sunday, November 2, 1952, in Magee, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Brown Family Cemetery, 4805 Simpson Hwy 28 W, Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Mr. Danny was loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was an active Shriner. He enjoyed spending time riding his Shovelhead bike “Baby Blue”. He lived life to the fullest, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all of loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Brown; mother, Jean Spell Brown; and brother, Richard Brown.
Survivors include his loving wife of ten years, Deborah Carr Brown of Magee, MS; three sons, Chase Brown of Magee, MS, Chad Brown of Byrum, MS and Lee Barnes of Magee, MS; two daughters, Lacey Brown Price (Freddie) of Pelahatchie, MS and Christy Brown McInnis (Carter) of Hattiesburg, MS; one step-son, Jason Linson of Laurel, MS; two step-daughters, Shasta Smith of LA and Jessica Linson of Morton, MS; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chase Brown, John Hosey, Alan Sullivan, Lee Barnes, Adam Carr, and Kevin Middleton.
