County Forestry Association Meeting set for March 28, 2024   

The Simpson County Forestry Association will have a general meeting on Thursday, March 28, 2024, beginning at 6pm at the Simpson County Jr. Livestock Barn. The speakers will be Great Southern Wood Preserving and the MS Forestry Commission. They will speak about the drought and beetle damage. A meal will be provided by Smokey Mountain Grille of Mendenhall.  We encourage anyone with an interest in forestry to attend the meeting and join our local association. Dues are $20.00. If you plan to attend, please make sure to RSVP to the Simpson County Extension office at 601-847-1335 by Wednesday, March 27, 2024 27.
