The Simpson Academy Softball team lost to Silliman in the morning game 7-3. The Cougars will
play again Monday at 2 ACCCS. The Cougars are still assured of advancing to the State play-offs. The top four teams in the district
will move on to State…with the Cougars only now suffering their first loss, they are in the group of
4 to advance.
UPDATE: Cougars won 2 o’clock game against ACCS and will play Silliman at 4.
Cougars need to beat Silliman twice to win championship
Update: The Cougars were defeated in the four o’clock game played against Silliman Academy 5-1.
The Cougars finished in 2nd place in the South State Tournament and will advance to State.
