Simpson Cougars suffered a heart breaking loss in the first round of the State Playoff held at Mississippi College.
The Cougars led in the first quarter 21-14. Halftime found the Cougars tied 26-26. The third quarter was the charm for Magnolia Heights as the score moved to 40-35….with the score 58-48 at the buzzer.
A sad afternoon…but a great group of Cougars who always make us proud!
Just a small correction to the article, SCA won AA Boys State last week; the game played was the MAIS Overall Tournament where the best team from all MAIS classes play.
