Conservative Men’s Meeting

Conservative Men’s meeting was held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the VFW building in Magee.

The last Conservative men’s meeting for 2019 was a success. This meeting was co-hosted by the Republican Women of Simpson Co and there 93 in attendance with current Secretary of State and Republican Candidate for Lt Govenor Delbert Hoseman as the keynote speaker. Delbert spoke on continuing the progress that has been made under Republican leadership and has a plan to continue improving and growing our great State by allowing counties and municipalities the ability to access and fund infrastructure needs or improvements.

Our State Republican chairman Lucien Smith spoke on the importance of the upcoming election on Nov 5th. Lucien reminded us that we as a party need to remain unified in our values and stand together to protect and preserve our State while continuing to move forward.
D’Lo Mayor John Henry Berry , Mendenhall Mayor Todd Booth, and Magee Mayor Dale Berry were in attendance. There were 3 of out of 4 municipalities that were represented.
Special Guest was William Owens Jr. 
William is a friend from California and is on a tour across America to promote his dad’s book “a dream derailed” ( very good read)
His dad Bill Sr. is an advisor to the Pres.Trump and leader of Conservative African American Pastors Coalition.
