SCA varsity boys are ranked #1 in MAIS AAA and played #2 ranked Columbia which is also a district game.
SCA jumped out to an early lead and led 21-16 after the first period and 40-35 at the half. Both teams had some foul trouble but Columbia left their players on the floor and made a run to led 57-49 after 3rd period.
In the 4th Simpson made a run of their our. Sam McWilliams had 4 fouls but remained on the court and proved to be hard to stop scoring 42. Brandon Cranford sat part of the 3rd period but had a huge 4th scoring 16 points while Jacob Berry added 13 points also hitting a couple timely shots in the 4th, Simpson won 74-69 and lived up to the hype as one of the best games of the years.
