Congratulations to Major Steve Shows on becoming the Special Operations Major for DPS.
A brief history about Major Shows and the Dept of Public Safety includes that he served as Region One Captain, a MBI agent for region one and then transferred over to the enforcement division as a Master Sergeant for the enforcement division. His achievements span from over the years of 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 – DUI 100 club, and also becoming a motorcycle unit Instructor for DPS! Major Shows will over see all of DPS special operations units which include the SWAT TEAM, S.O.G team, the motorcycle team, K-9 team, Criminal Interdiction Unit and various-other units with special skill set for the Department of Public Safety. Congratulations Major Shows!
