The Lady Cougars played Pillow Academy, in the Consolation game. After beating Pillow for the North State championship, Pillow was ready to put up a fight. Pillow won 58-54. Simpson had a great fight, but could not pull through. This game ended the Lady Cougars’ season. Pillow Academy hosted the MAIS 5A State Tournament, in Greenwood, Mississippi.
Simpson had a great season and ended with a 31-6 record. Coach Dear and the seniors did a great job leading their team. Congratulations on this season! We are so proud!
