September 7, 2018, the Magee Trojans lost to the Collins Tigers bringing their record to 2-2.
In the first quarter of the game, both teams fought to keep the ball. With many turnovers and tackles, both defenses were strong enough to prevent a touchdown.
The Trojans scored their first touchdown in the second quarter and went for the two-point conversion, which was good. Also in the second quarter, the Trojans scored a three-point field goal bringing the score to Magee 11 Collins 13 going into halftime.
In the second half, things started to go downhill for the Trojans. Although Magee made two touchdowns in the fourth, Collins’ team scored touchdown after touchdown eventually winning the game 25-33.
Next Friday, September 14th, Magee plays Newton away.
