Friday night was a really good homecoming win. The weather felt like football. Hats off to our kids who were out of school, but showed up and executed. I think we were able to play almost everybody…. Hearing about the shootings at Heidelberg and then learning about the 2 others was really upsetting. Young people need leadership and direction. A lot of kids are being raised by electronic devices, music, and memes. Moments of stupidity can erase lives before they really begin. It’s sobering. That is why I encourage everybody on our kids and community to help prevent senseless tragedies…. We have Raleigh this week, who is the #1 team in 3A. They are incredibly well coached, arguably the best defense I’ve seen since I’ve been here. They play really physically on both lines of scrimmage.

It will take excellent preparation and execution next Friday.
