TAYLOR PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARS- High School seniors Rachel Temple of Franklin County High School (left) and Kamryn Bridges of Wesson Attendance Center have been named Taylor Presidential Scholars at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The Taylor Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship offered at Co-Lin. Not pictured is Mattie Grace Williams of Bogue Chitto Attendance Center.

This scholarship was established by Fred and Jewett Taylor of Oxford, Mississippi, as a prestigious $8,000 annual scholarship to assist outstanding students within the Co-Lin district. The scholarship is funded through a $1 million endowment given by Mrs. Jewett Taylor in 2003. Applications are accepted through the college president’s office each spring.
