Christian Carrico, president of Keep Magee Beautiful, appeared before the Mayor and Board of Aldermen with an update on City Park progress.

Resurfacing of the tennis courts will take place in the next few weeks.  School matches will begin Thursday with Simpson hosting.

The board gave permission for Christian to move forward and secure a bid for the playground.  According to Carrico, usually it takes about 6 months before any items will be received after the bid is submitted.  “We are looking at later in this year or the next of 2025 for completion,” stated Carrico.
