At a called Board of Aldermen meeting Thursday night, March 8, 2024, Wesla Sullivan was named the City Attorney. The position became available upon the resignation of Attorney Marc McMillian, Mrs. Sullivan will begin work with the City next week.
Mike Berry of Magee was hired as the Airport Manager and Building Maintenance. Mr. Berry will maintain city buildings as well as perform maintenance on city structures. He will also be in charge of the airport. Berry will began work in two weeks.
