Seventeen people have qualified to run for public office in Magee.
Two people are running on the Democratic Party Ticket: Patrick Brown & Delores McDonald for Ward 4
Two people have qualified Independent: Chris Lane (Ward 1) and Scot Russell (Ward 2)
Thirteen Republicans: Paul Arnold , Angel McPhail Brister and Kevin Meadows for Aldermen -At-Large
Dale Berry, Brent Walker, and Robert Vinson for Mayor
Lane Steele and Chris May for Alderman Ward 5
Jasper Adcock, Whitney Baker, and Eddie Lofton for Ward 1
Matthew Hickman and Murry Keith for Ward 2
Primary Election will be held May 2nd and the General Election June 6th.
The situation which arrived with the Democratic Party has been clarified by the Secretary of State’s office. The proper documents were completed by Democratic Chairman George Jackson in the county election which also took care of the city election.
