The Scriptural passage for today is found in Romans 5:8: “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Yes, God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to come to earth, be offered up as a sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world, die on a cruel cross, and ascend back into Heaven to sit at His right side. And God did it all for us. Not because of anything we’d done to deserve it. But all because of God’s amazing grace, we are given the opportunity to become heirs and joint heirs with Him. Who else would do such a thing? Only the one true God has that kind of love and power. And we all should bow in humble thanks and adoration. Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Three in one. One in three. Amen!
