The Magee Consolidated – McLaurin Vocational Attendance Center Historical Society (MC-MVAC) is proud to announce that Chloe Woodard was crowned the 2025 Miss Juneteenth Simpson County.
Chloe participated in the parade and shared in the celebration at Marvin Jackson Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The title of her essay is “Why Juneteenth Matters: A Holiday and a History Lesson”.
She is the daughter of Pamela and Christopher Woodard. She is a proud class of 2025 graduate of Mendenhall High School where she graduated as Salutatorian and STAR Student (31 ACT) with Highest Honors.
In the fall, Chloe will be attending Mississippi State University majoring in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. Chloe also has a full ride scholarship through the Mississippi Excellence in teaching program, which will help her to advance her studies and secure her bachelor’s degree.
When it comes to her community, Chloe couldn’t be prouder of where she comes from. She loves any opportunity to give back and positively represent the people who have supported her throughout her whole life.
