Charlie Carson Orman, 77, of Braxton, Mississippi, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at his home in Braxton, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, October 7, 1942.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the New Zion Baptist Church in Braxton.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at New Zion Baptist Church. The Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Carlous Smith will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Mr. Orman was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charles Spurgeon and Merle Louise Orman; brother, David Earl Orman and Jimmy Dale Orman; sisters, Diane Sebren and Jeannie Lynn Harrell.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Orman; daughters, Kathy Lynn Prine (Tony) and Cynthia Ann James (Tommy); sister, Betty Jo Crosby; two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Richard Morris, Charles Orman, Chuck Shorter, Dennis Blizzard, Shane Pittman, and Chris Donofrio. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Earl Shorter
