(August 16, 1939 – July 1, 2022)

Charles “Charlie” Ray Creason, 82, of Braxton, Mississippi, died Friday July 1, 2022.  He was born on Wednesday, August 16, 1939.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall, Mississippi and burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Carlous Smith and Bro. Jimmy Errington will officiate.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie and Geraldine never had any children.  Over the years their babies were there many beloved dogs.  He loved his dogs, Snoopy and Gypsie, and spoiled them dearly.  He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Creason; parents, Sam and Birdie Creason; brothers, Paul, Robert, Buddy, Randall, Harold Creason; and sisters, Billy, Doris, Annie Marie Creason.

Survivors include sister, Mildred Andrews (Joe); sister-in-law, Kathleen Orman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry Creason, Joey Andrews, Billy Earl Sims, Tony Prine, Fisher Creason, and Stevie Creason.
