Charlene Bailey Floyd Dean was called home by her Heavenly Father on Friday, June 8, 2018, at her home with family by her side at the age of 91. She was born April 11, 1927, in Webster County, MS to Charlie and Carey Bailey.

She was a homemaker and seamstress who also spent countless hours using her love of cooking to share with others. She was a very special lady who was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard B. Floyd, Sr. and Lester C. Dean; brothers, Buddy Bailey and Sonny Bailey; sisters, Ouida Peery, Malloy Reed, and Tillie Bowman; grandchildren, Devin Michael Hopkins, Carl Lewis Pittman, and Madeline Rae Rawson.

She is survived by three sons, Howard B. Floyd, Jr. (Judy), Marvin Floyd (Milli), and Kenny Dean; five daughters, Twila Windham (Marty), Caroline Gardner (Andy), Karen Girling (David), Carol Green (John), and Charlene Dean; one brother, Brown Bailey and one sister, Sue Keen; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with an additional visitation on Sunday, June 10, at 1 p.m. prior to the service at 2 p.m.  Both visitations and the service will be at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Wesbrooks and Rev. Max Price officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
