Continuing talk in the Simpson County area concerning the filing of Chapter 11 bankruptcy by Pioneer Health Care and its entities is still the hottest and scariest topic in and around Simpson County and the state.

The IRS has filed liens against Pioneer CEO Joseph McNulty.  These are additional filings by the IRS.  Tax debt cannot be forgiven in a bankruptcy.  The amount of this filing is $3,391,765.82.  Currently McNulty is the

only person named in the filming.  But according to IRS information others  could be held liable.

Taxes that were withheld from employees checks were not paid to the IRS quarterly as required by the government (Social Security, FICA, etc).  If any of the money withheld from employees checks were used to pay

any other type debts or for personal use…there well be major trouble.  As information becomes available, I will post.

Just saying…a mess
