Chad never dedicated his life to just one singular thing, he focused on the laughter of his family and friends, the deals he pondered upon and just being a happy person in general. He had a way to bring laughter and joy to any and every situation that brought his way.
He had a unique ability to light up every room he entered, and his smile could even make the hardest days a little brighter. To his family he was more than a son, husband, father or grandfather he was a best friend, a supporter and a source of strength and comfort.
He lived each moment in that moment. It was never live each moment like it was your last. Live it in that moment, and that moment only, because in his eyes it wasn’t about the past, it’s not about the future, it’s about right then.
His passion was singing southern gospel music with the Revelations and several other gospel groups for 35 years. One of his favorite hobbies was shopping at thrift stores, Goodwill’s, and hunting for good deals. He had a knack for spotting an old car in the middle of a field, even when weeds and other growth surrounded it. He never met a stranger he couldn’t talk to or joke with. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Scherry Lee Savage; paternal grandparents, Maurice Savage and Virginia Savage; maternal grandparents, Harry Glenn Cauthen and Audrey Roland Cauthen; mother-in-law’s, Barbara Smith and Paulett Wilson.
