Cathy Thompson passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1959, in Jackson, MS.
Cathy had a huge, loving heart. She had strong faith and love for God. Her family meant the world to her, and being with them brought her the greatest joy. She was a member of Campbell’s Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Ricky Thompson; sons Bryan Farris, Joseph Thompson (Victoria), Jeremy Thompson, and Perry Thompson (Traci); daughters Vicky Thompson and Jessica Thompson; sisters Bonnie Hodge (Mike) and Patricia Carter; and many beloved grandchildren and family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Carter.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
