The Scripture chosen for today is found in Psalm 55:22: “Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.” The psalmist totally relied on his Lord and Savior for all his needs. He walked closely and daily with the Lord and knew the source of his strength and hope. God was his source, his focus, and his friend. Would that we all had the faith and reliance of the psalmist. What a better world it would be. It is possible for each individual if we’ll only commit and enter a covenant with God. As a result, we’ll automatically become heirs and joint heirs with Him. He will write our name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and no entity in the universe can erase it. Oh, what a promise! Draw near to God, and He’ll draw near to you. Amen!
