On June 27, 2015 Calvin Thornton went to Magee Rentals and rented a 50” Toshiba TV and then carried the TV to Quick Cash Pawn Shop.
On February 1, 2016, Chief Investigator Joey Womack was assigned this case to investigate. Lt. Womack traveled to Quick Cash Pawn and recovered the 50” Toshiba; returning it to Magee Rentals. Lt.
Womack issued an arrest warrant for Calvin Thornton for Embezzlement under contract (felony). Lt. Womack made several attempts to arrest Thornton, at several different locations. Lt. Womack placed Thornton on National Crime Information Center computer (NCIC) as a wanted fugitive.
Lt. Womack is also seeking restitution for Quick Cash Pawn shop.
