Mississippi Supreme Court Chief Justice Mike Randolph appointed Breazeale on May 1 to a term which will extend through Dec. 31, 2029. Breazeale succeeded Hattiesburg businessman Edward J. Langton, who served on the Commission from January 2024 until September 2025.

With Breazeale as the company’s sole owner, Polk’s became a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBENC) and certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).

Breazeale earned a Master of Business Administration degree from USM in December 2007. She was honored as Young Alumnus of the Year in 2013.  She served as a board member of the University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association, the University of Southern Mississippi Foundation and the University of Southern Mississippi Athletic Foundation.
