(February 16, 1947 – January 1, 2016)
Brenda Russell, 68, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Bro. Sammy Napier and Rob Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Rials Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dale Russell of Mendenhall; son, Aubrey Dale Russell(Kim); grandchildren, Ashtin Rawls(Adam),and Taylor Russell; great-grandsons, Keatin Whatley, Dusty Rawls,and Axton Rawls; Sisters, Vaiden Barlow, Gertie McNaughton, Emily Thompson, and Myrtle Lee Means.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maude Cliburn and H.C. Cliburn and brother, Edward Cliburn.
Pallbearers will be Billy Means, Jason Shoemaker, Cliff Moore, Nathan Smith, Jeff Jennings, Cody Bairfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Fuller, Mitch Abernathy, Sammy Welch and Rusty Sherman.
