Alex Boykin of Mt. Olive (seated, left) is the recipient of the Beatrice and Cecil Farmer Memorial Scholarship presented by the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to a graduate of Simpson County, who has a B or better-average, good character, and plans to be a full-time student at Co-Lin. On hand for the presentation were (seated from left), Marie Farmer, Neal Lee, and Patsy West, and standing from left, Co-Lin Foundation Board Member Bradley Smith and Gene Farmer. Scholarship donors and recipients were honored at the Co-Lin Foundation 15th annual scholarship reception held at The Thames Center on the Wesson Campus. The Co-Lin Foundation provides almost $200,000 in scholarships to over 150 Co-Lin students.
