Boswell Regional Center is celebrating during the month of March for a number of reasons. One is that March is observed as Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD) Awareness Month. The month of March is set aside each year in an effort to raise public awareness of Mississippians with disabilities. The City of Magee joined forces with Boswell to increase awareness in the community through a proclamation signed by Mayor Jimmy Clyde on Friday, March 17th . This is an annual event which recognizes IDD Awareness in the month of March. Another activity that has been planned in conjunction with the event, includes participating in the annual Day at the Capitol on March 22nd.
