Bonnie Sue Blakeney, (April 29, 1932 – March 31, 2016), passed away on March 31,2016 At MS Care Center in Raleigh, MS. Sue was born in Smith County to the late Obie Nichols and Ms Willie Mae Smith Nichols of Raleigh, MS.
She worked at southern lumber company in Jackson, MS. where she had countless friends before retiring after 50 years with this company. She then moved back to her home town of Center Ridge. She began to travel and loved to work in her yard and had beautiful flowers and loved baking and simply spending with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Blakeney and brother Mitchell Nichols.
She is survived by Ken Nichols (Denise), Elice Strausser, Sheree Hester, Allison Graves,(Brandon), and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Colonial Chapel in Taylorsville, MS. on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 12:30PM till 1:30PM with a graveside service at 2:00PM at Liberty Cemetery with Rev. Danny Dickerson Officiating.
