On November 25th Bonnie released the caring hands of her earthly family while taking the hand of her heavenly father.
After 91 years of serving her Lord and savior, family, and community, she is now re-united with her parents, Z.B. and Pearl Rankin McAlpin, her husband, John Richard Womack and her beloved son Donald R. Womack.
She leaves behind to honor and cherish her memory a daughter, Rita Womack Black, a brother, Arthur C. McAlpin (Elsie), two sisters, Nevis McAlpin Womack, Jean McAlpin Ratliff, 2 sister-n-laws, Mrs. L.C. McAlpin (Leona) and Mrs. Bill McAlpin (Dot), two grandsons Richard L. Ainsworth (Stacey), and T. Richard Womack (Michele), four granddaughters, Paige Womack String (Tim), Shannon Womack Burch (Lavell), Krystie Womack Young (Billy Jack), and Shay Ainsworth Moore (Shannon), 16 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Novis McAlpin Jones, two brothers, L.C. McAlpin, Bill McAlpin Jr., one great grandson Andy Ratcliff.
Visitation is Monday, November 28th from 10 to 12:30 o’clock at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee, Ms. with services to follow at 1:00pm at New Bethlehem Baptist Church Mendenhall, Ms.
We would like to personally thank the staff of Hillcrest Nursing for their wonderful care and concern given to mother during the final season of her earthly life, and a special thanks to Nurse Julie Giangrosso and her personal care assistant.
