Bones was a long time employee of E.O. Berry’s. He was the most unselfish person anyone could ever meet. If you knew him, you knew he would give you the shirt off of his back. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do, if he couldn’t fix it nobody could. He loved the Lord and knew exactly where he would spend his eternity. He also loved to paint, fish, and dance. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Jeffery Jerome Brown and Barney Warren; parents, Joe Dennis (Pete) and Lois Brown; brother, Ricky Dale Brown; father-in-law, John D. Garner.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Brown; three sons, Jonathan Brown of Magee, Benjamin Brown of Lumberton, and Joey Young of Magee; two daughters, Tonya Bairfield and husband, Bruce of Mendenhall and Tiffany Wright of Magee; grandchildren, Randy Lee Parker, Jessica Dale and husband, Charlie of Prentiss, Abby Young of Magee, Brad Lewis and wife Jennifer of Braxton, Ashley Lewis of Mendenhall, Kaitlyn King of Magee, Courtney King of Magee, Kaleb King of Magee, and Cameron King of Magee; and seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jean Kennedy and husband, Johnny of Puckett, Joyce Brown of D’lo, Mary Brown and husband, Gary of Magee, Patricia Creason and husband, Larry of Mendenhall; two brothers, Randy Joe Brown of Mendenhall and Edward Brown of Magee; mother-in- law, Ruby L.
