Bobby Samuel McNair, 95 of Magee, MS passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, June 18, 1930 in Magee, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Beulah Baptist Church in Magee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Beulah Baptist Church in Magee. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Jim Taylor and Bro. Stephen Keen will officiate. Special music will be performed by Melanie Nunnally, Clark Walker, and Jennifer Walker. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Mr. McNair was a deacon at Beulah Baptist Church and served in the Armed Forces of the United States. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great- grandfather, and brother, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie McNair; daughter, Ellan Hughes; parents, Robert McNair and Gertrude Kennedy McNair; maternal grandparents, Willie and Janie Kennedy.
Survivors include his son, Mike Taylor (Peggy) of Magee, MS; grandchildren, Jim Taylor (Katrina) of Ellisville , MS, Allyson Thompson (Keith) of Gulfport , MS, Melanie Nunnally of Petal, MS, Mandy Meadows (Jerry) of Magee , MS and Brice Hughes (Dina) of Magee , MS; great grandchildren, Ally Taylor, Kennedy Loper (Collin), Grace Taylor, Landon Nunnally, Claire Thompson, Riley Thompson, Hayley Meadows, Hallee Meadows and Taylor Hughes (Jessica); and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
