Billy Ray Puckett, 67, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, died Monday at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall. He was born Tuesday, November 24, 1953.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

He was preceded in death by Willie and Kathleen Puckett.

Survivors include his brother, Wiley Puckett; daughter, Gillie Hartfield (Blain); son, Joseph Walker (Trisha); grandchildren, Dalton Hartfield (Emily), Lauren Hartfield, Jayden Hartfield, Jacob Walker (Ashley); and a host of nieces and nephews.
