Billy G. Sullivan, 87 of Mize, MS passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his residence in Mize, MS. He was born Friday, January 1, 1937 in Mize, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 1:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive, Mississippi. Bro. Will McNeese will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Billy retired in 2002 from Sullivan Enterprise. The rest of his life was spent loving on his family. He always supported his grandkids, traveling for all the different sports, helping them in any way he could, and loving them fiercely. No one had a bad word to say about him. He was an honest and fair man and will be dearly and deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Faye Canoy Sullivan; father, Hollice C. Sullivan; mother, Annie Mae Harvey Sullivan; grandchild, Amanda Dendy; son in-law, Mayo Dendy; and three sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Marie Dendy, Sheila Ann Sullivan and Angie Griffith; grandchildren, Joshua Dendy (Rhiannon), Zachary Griffith and Tyler Griffith; great grandchildren, Trey Austin Troney (Tria), Cory Michael Troney, Chloe Adelaide Dendy, Ethan Dendy and Noah Dendy; and great great grandchildren, Karsyn Troney and Maisyn Troney.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Dendy, Zachary Griffith, Tyler Griffith, Trey Austin Troney, Cory Michael Troney, Ethan Dendy, and Noah Dendy.
Special music will be performed by Jacob Ware and Zach Ware.
