Billy Earl Welch, 80, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, June 25, 1941.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.   Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Frank Harmon will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401.

Mr. Billy Earl Welch was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist in Mendenhall. He also was a member of Masonic Lodge of Mendenhall for over 50 years. Mr. Billy was a long time business owner of B&A Enterprises for over 43 years. He loved God and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Virgie Welch; brothers, Willie Welch and Jessie Welch.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ann Runnels Welch of Mendenhall; sons, Bill Welch (Stephanie) and Allen Welch (Shannon) all of Mendenhall; sister, Elizabeth Chalk (Lavell) of Mendenhall; brothers, Jimmy Welch (Rose Anna) of Mendenhall and George Welch (Janice) of Nashville; 9 grandchildren: 3 great-grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brice Welch, Alex Welch, Alex Anderson, William Chalk, Jim Welch, and Ted Welch
