Oh, what a day! The Bicentennial Parade was the perfect event to begin Magee’s celebration.
I had no idea so many people would attend the activities of the day! But, Magee was packed with people of all ages. Former and present Magee Trojans and coaches led the parade. The Magee band participated. The Choctaw Indians participated. And…the floats and cars provided the hometown flavor….and we even had tractors and horses!
The Community House was truly a show place. The floors gleamed. The tall ceilings…the fabulous large windows (which allowed the beautiful sunlight to keep the room shinning) the tables of football championship treasures, the museum and other displays kept everyone busy checking out everything!
If you are like me, I like pictures! …and I’ve got ‘em!
Visiting and exchanging stories provided all day entertainment!
Thank you again to the people who made Magee’s celebration a memory for another 100 years
