Betty Sue Taylor, 88 of Braxton, MS passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024 at her residence in Braxton, MS. She was born Sunday, October 27, 1935 in Simpson County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Jupiter Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James “Grassy” Elwood Taylor; father, Marvin Sullivan; mother, Vernell McLain Sullivan; brothers, Wesley Sullivan, Charles Sullivan (Gertrude), M.T. Sullivan (Juanita) and Billy “Bucky” Sullivan; sisters, Helen Louise Sinclair (Charlie), Joan Turnage; grandchild, Isaac Taylor.

She is survived by her sons, Swep Taylor (Donna) and Fred Taylor (Pamela); daughter, Julie Dickerson (Les); grandchildren, Joel Taylor, Mollie Toney (Eli), Kristin Berry (Donald), Cole Mitchell (Taylor), Abigail Taylor (Sara), Lanee McMillon (Jeremy) and Cooper Dickerson; sisters, Jane Everett (Bob) and Glenda Brooks; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cooper Dickerson, Jeremy McMillon, Donald Berry, Eli Toney, Tom Sullivan, and Cole Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Sullivan.​
