Benny Ray Thompson, 64, of White Oak-Magee, Mississippi, passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Friday, March 26, 2021, at his home. He was born Friday, November 9, 1956, in Simpson County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow Thompson Hill Family Cemetery in White Oak, Mississippi. Bro. Rich Ables will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mr. Thompson was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and run his hunting dogs.  Most of his radio handle friends and family knew him as “Beanie Weenie”.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Thompson and Ruth Leverta Royals Thompson; two brothers, William Thomas Thompson and Billy Earl Thompson; one sister, Lillie Faye Thompson Reed; sister-in-law, Docia Thompson.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Ruth Nichols of White Oak, MS; three brothers, James Douglas Thompson, Paul David Thompson, and Jerry Wayne Thompson, all of White Oak, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Drew Runnels, Kyle Runnels, Christopher Thompson, Austin Thompson, Dalton Thompson, and Lucas Thompson.
