The Scriptural passage for today is found in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” More advice for daily conduct is here given to the church by the apostle. Being a Christian isn’t always easy, but the process of sanctification is our daily walk with God and with others. We as Christians are to exemplify the very best attributes of God and of Jesus. Be joyful, get rid of that sour look, be positive, pray continually, and give thanks in all things. With practice, this conscious effort will alter our mental and spiritual states for the better. Try it. Amen!
