Simpson County Technical Center is featuring its Automotive Services program.  Pictured is the instructor, Dean Batton, with students, (left to right) Jared Howington and Seborn Leggett, during a lab activity on Friday, September 8.
The Automotive Services program is designed for students who are interested in automotive or automotive related careers.  It enables students to acquire the skills needed to enter the automotive repair and service industry or post-secondary automotive programs.  Students in the automotive program have the option of joining SkillsUSA, the student organization for career and technical students enrolled in this program.  Through SkillsUSA membership, students build the personal capacity to become outstanding workers, effective leaders, and caring citizens. Mr. Batton is one of the SkillsUSA advisors at the center.
