Two Magee natives, Garrison Ashley and Connor Cone, have been selected to serve as executive officers of the Beta Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Mississippi State University.

Both Ashley and Cone are graduates of Simpson Academy and will serve in their leadership positions during the spring and fall semesters.

Garrison Ashley is the son of Joey and Jennifer Ashley of Magee. Connor Cone is the son of Mitzi Floyd and Chris Cone of Magee and is also the grandson of Dot Nichols.

Kappa Alpha Fraternity emphasizes brotherhood, leadership, and service, encouraging members to support one another, particularly in times of need, and to celebrate each other’s achievements.

Ashley and Cone’s selection as executive officers reflects their leadership abilities and commitment to the values of their fraternity. Both young men continue to represent Magee and Simpson County with pride while pursuing their education at Mississippi State University.
