Arnold Smith Hederman  Jr., a Resident of Slidell, LA passed away on February 7, 2022, after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer.

Arnold was born August 4, 1941, in Jackson, Mississippi to Arnold Smith Hederman Sr, and Eleanor (Shaughnessy) Hederman. He was a graduate of Murrah High School and Mississippi State University. He was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee, MS.

Arnold began his employment with his family-owned newspaper, The Clarion-Ledger/Jackson Daily News, at an early age; first as a paperboy, then the press room, ad sales, and editor of the Clinton News. He was an avid sportsman and a die-hard Mississippi State and Red Sox fan.
