AMR Helicopter Services provided at Magee and located at Magee General Hospital ceased service with Simpson County Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
The Ambulance helicopter service provided by AMR will no longer be available. The service is moving to UMMC. The announcement came from County Administrator Rhuel Dickinson Wednesday afternoon.
AMR Ambulances will still be available just no helicopter service from AMR.
