Alfred E. Fry passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at his residence. He was born February 10, 1951, to the late Elza Adam Fry and Thelma Aruilla (Griffith) Fry.
Al was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He loved his church family and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. He spent a lot of his time outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was truly a part of the community and will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie Farmer Fry; son, Capt. USAF Jimmie Shane Todd (Khemmanat); daughters, Alicia Lawrence (Marty), Angela Fry, Jeanie Fry; grandchildren, Jade, Jacob, McKenzie, Nakritta, Joshua, Caleb, Wyatt and three great- grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Stanford Fry, one brother and three sisters.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 449 Mt. Zion Road, Mt. Olive, MS at 12:00 noon with visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon with Bro. Trent Sullivan officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
