The Alcorn State Braves have released their 2023
Football Schedule. Following a lackluster season in 2022,
the Braves are hoping to bounce back this year as they may
have one of the tougher FCS schedules this year.
The Braves will open their season on the road against
Southern Miss and then travel to Stephen F. Austin. After
two weeks on the road, Alcorn will host the McNeese
Cowboys in Lorman, with Prairie View visiting the next
week. Seventh-year head coach Fred McNair (brother of
the late Steve “Air” McNair) and his team are looking
forward to improving over last year to finish with a
winning record in 2023.
