Afterwards Academy for Ages 1-4
Located at 713 Highway 49 North in Magee, MS, Afterwards Academy offers young learners a nurturing program that features proven learning programs, designed to give them the very best start.
🎓 Proven Learning Programs
- Abeka Curriculum – foundation for success
- Waterford Reading (4-year-olds) – 15 minutes daily to build early literacy skills
- Singapore Math (Pre-K) – developing strong math skills early.
🍎 Providing Nutritious Meals & Snacks
Breakfast, lunch, and both morning and afternoon snacks are included daily.
🕕 Offering Convenient Hours
Open Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Afterwards Academy 2 for Ages 5-12
After-school students ages 5-12 join Afterwards Academy 2, which is located at 614 2nd Street SW in Magee, MS. Afternoons are filled with homework help, learning support, play, and growth.
🚐 Transportation
Provided for after-school students in Magee and Mendenhall.

Founded in 2021 by J’zsamika Buckley, Afterwards Academy was created to meet the growing demand for high-quality childcare and after-school care in Simpson County.
